Good morning!
Cool but muggy for my early-morning walk at 70F (21C) and 94% humidity. We're going back to normally hot July temperatures now, with a high of 90F (32C).
Lots of big tree branches down from last evening's storm. I'm very lucky my power stayed on. Friends nearby lost power and have been told it will be three or four days before it's restored.
This is not because the storm was so very bad; it's because the electric company's employees went on strike yesterday. We have major storms coming in again tonight. Fingers crossed my power stays on again, and that the company gives the workers what they're asking for right away.
It turns out the fireworks I heard yesterday evening were not set off by neighbors, but rather by the township setting off everything for the show quickly and early before the storm came.
Have a good one, my friends, and keep on keeping on.
