I've spent all morning translating a song I really liked from Japanese, and I'm wasted. There is so much nuance, so much depth, so much wordplay in it.

I started with a machine translation of the song, but it wasn't just imprecise, it was completely wrong in many places. People saying that modern machine translation is the equivalent of the Babel Fish are so freaking (and dangerously) wrong.
