Taking stock after walking around this morning with and without crutches, I realize I’ve tried to ditch the crutches too quickly, likely to my detriment. I can hobble short distances OK, but for any extended walking I need to stick with the crutches for now. It’s deflating, but such is recovery. I was seduced by the siren song of having two free hands to carry something when needed 😀

@duncandahusky One truth about aging I have realized is after 20's, recovery increases by +1wk for every decade. If you think you're totally fine and don't need that drug/tool anymore, add x weeks to it or you will regret it later :P

@thumper Welp, that’s depressing, but very likely true! I’d hoped to be walking normally by August, but I think Labor Day may be a more reasonable target at this point.
