Should the team be penalized and keep Flo out when he’s our best scorer I mean I don’t know it’s just so frustrating. I say they don’t start him, but they bring him in if they need him. And the red card was reversed on a standing FIFA rule that has been used before in the World Cup and Ronaldo‘s red card was also reversed. Plus it was a BSRed

@JonChevreau but the players dedicate their lives to this. It’s abt players not politicians or the association—every professional sport has corruption (Collgiate too) FIFA maybe more than others…we need some kind of distraction from the shit show here in the US. I love soccer. My son played in Spain & England & US from the time he was three (there’s corruption in kids soccer believe me)

But I’m not going to let Trump or FIFA take the joy of watching this World Cup away from me.

@obrien_kat So you blame the players for the association, suspending their red cards? and no matter what they do they will get criticized so it’s more of a burden on the players than a help

@JonChevreau Do agree on that Jon. Who knows if Trump even made the call he might’ve just said it and put it out there so he would look good I mean nothing. The guy says is truthful anyway, but I cannot stand the fact that everything was going so well for this team and they could’ve weathered the red card and now this motherfucker has given the world. Another reason to hate the US and think we’d cheat at everything I so hate him.

They are wonderful joyful team and they could’ve weathered this. Oh my God the response on social media is so pissing me off.

#Paraguay played soooo dirty today…. Purposely kicking French players when they were down on the ground, throwing elbows in the stomach and ribs and never getting called for yellow card. In my opinion that team should be banned from the World Cup. They play like a bunch of freaking thugs. Because they don’t have the talent.
