Trump makes a call to his amiguito Infantino, pushing for Balogun’s red card/one-game suspension to be overturned, and voila, Balogun can play tomorrow night.
It’s just gross, and kinda makes me want to root against the U.S., even though it’s not the players’ fault and I also don’t really like Belgium.
Also, ironic he is pushing to get back a player he doesn’t think is a citizen. I guess he’s stopping the birthright citizenship fight??

It was the first time since 1962 that FIFA has nullified a suspension for a red card received during the World Cup.

An excellent editorial in @inquirer.com: the nation’s soul hangs in the balance on 250th anniversary of U.S.
The American dream is out of reach for many, & the nation still lives in the shadow of slavery. The ideals are laudatory, but reality leaves much to be desired.
