@BlueWaver22 Having just read Regime Change, 47’s corruption is uppermost in my mind just now and FIFA is just as unsavoury. After the fake Peace Prize I was going to boycott this tourney but got sucked back in. After this incident I am second guessing my decision to pay attention to it.

Canadian and sure it is a pity we are out of the tourney. I agree the U.S. team is not to blame here and us not cheering for them won’t make a whit of difference. My point is that if the FIFA/Trump collusion succeeds in propelling the U.S. past Belgium, any subsequent victories will be tainted.

@obrien_kat That’s my reaction: cheer for anyone but the U.S. now. And if they make it to the final, boycott it and don’t watch 47 handing the cup to the winner if it’s the U.S. They would be an illegitimate winner, just like the illegitimate president. #WorldCup
