Take what risk? Putting an LLM to work for you? I don’t understand the risk. You’re confused about this. You should be a Luddite and actually understand the philosophy. Maybe read ‘reverse centaurs’ by Corey Doctorow. And stop making training data for the LLMs.

I’m usually of the opinion that Someone who needs alt should use some tool to read it. I don’t like giving training data to AIs. But sure, I could be wrong. Usually my alt for book quotes is just the text.
