I fully agree.
But I want to point out that even though the radio spectrum regulates the output power of RF-amplifiers, the electrical code and general health&safety regulations still apply to all electrical connections to that same RF-amplifier.

The customers were much more focused on download speeds, than upload speeds, because, then as now, 1/3 of the bits were porn.

As somebody involved in the first xDSL installations in Denmark:
It was because 1/3 of all bits on the internet are pink and flow in one direction only.
Still the case.
