Ok sure, this logic to many is astounding and demoralizing.
I guess what really gets me is no one is saying "look, here is a bunch of people who came here 'illegally' and what they have contributed" because that number is HUGE.
And there are a lot of people whose parents were also citizens, and they contribute NOTHING.
Why do we have to vote on these "yeah but I feel like" feelings when there are actual facts, and the arguments become moot when you look at the facts!

@TheJen I had a weird dream where she was the Secretary of Transportation and she printed out a Vizio of how the "Infrastructure Week" funding was supposed to happen but it was infrastructure week every week and it was for an entire presidency.
Those effed up dreams are why I have a therapist.

@SeaFury My grandfather’s thesis for one of his PhDs was a treatise on (I kid you not) the minor third (in music theory) and a ton of his references were in German — some of them old high German and these themselves had research citations.
@SeaFury Is there anyone in your school or institution who could translate it for you? I know you can already “read” it thanks to translation platforms but I’ve definitely seen matrix references (where your single reference itself has I guess sub-references?).
